Museum Dr.
Soetomo merupakan museum bersejarah yang menyisakan benda-benda ataupun cerita
pada masa lampau sebelum Indonesia mendapatkan kemerdekaan. Selain itu museum yang
memiliki 2 lantai ini, ditetapkan sebagai Cagar Budaya, didalamnya menunjukkan eksploitasi Dr. Soetomo sebagai aktivis dan pendiri Boedi
Oetomo.
Museum ini yang terletak di Jalan Bubutan 85-87 Surabaya, diresmikan pada 29 November 2017 oleh Walikota Tri Rismaharani. Ada tiga area penting didalamnya yaitu pendopo, museum sendiri, dan juga makam dr. soetomo. Selain itu ada juga banyak koleksi di dalamnya seperti alat medis dan juga foto-foto yang menunjukkan aktivitas dan situasi yang terjadi di masa lalu.
Bagi yang ingin berkujung, Museum ini sangat mudah dijangkau karena dekat dengan beberapa tempat-tempat penting di Surabaya seperti tugu pahlawan Surabaya, pasar turi, dan stasiun pasar turi, and Tunjungan plaza. Dibuka setiap hari, mulai Senin sampai Minggu jam 07.30 hingga 15.30 dan tidak ada tiket masuk, alias gratis.
Dr. Museum Soetomo is a historic museum that leaves objects or stories in the past before Indonesia gained independence. In addition, this museum, which has 2 floors, is designated as a Cultural Heritage, which also exhibits Dr. Soetomo’s exploits as an activist and founder of Boedi Oetomo.
This museum is located on Jalan Bubutan 85-87 Surabaya, was inaugurated on November 29th, 2017 by Mayor Tri Rismaharani. There are three important areas in it, the pavilion, the museum itself, and also the tomb of Dr. Soetomo. In addition there are also many collections in it such as medical devices and photographs that show activities and conditions happened in the past.
For those who want to visit, this museum is very easy to reach because it is close to several important places in Surabaya such as Surabaya hero monument, Pasar Turi, and Surabaya Pasar Turi railway station, and Tunjungan plaza. It opens every day, from Monday to Sunday at 07.30 to 15.30 and there is no entrance ticket, alias free.
